Escape truth,
watch filth

Her style is bold, vivid and colourful mixing hand drawn and digital animation, sculpture and collage. Her work takes inspiration from human emotion, politics, social issues and the avant-garde.
escape truth, watch filth is a short video piece simulating the experience of channel surfing in a distorted early and mid-2000’s television landscape. Encapsulating and examining personal memories of days off school at home on the sofa. It combines hand drawn animation and surreal video collage to illustrate a helpless descent into a daytime reality hole. The piece responds to themes of idolisation, poverty and prejudice by painting a picture of an exploitative spectacle.
